THE MICROBREWERY FROM BREDA

A microbrewery based in Breda in the Netherlands. Brouwerij Frontaal was founded in 2015 by Roel Buckens, after years of searching for different flavours & aromas in existing beers. Roel has become a self-taught professional brewer. He gained a lot of experience at existing breweries and by immersing himself in a wealth of brewing literature.

Brouwerij Frontaal is a brewery that stands for innovation, balance, creativity but also for transparency (except for the clarity of some beers). This all reflects in the taste of their beer, in their labels but also in the way their brewery acts. They brew their beer according to the slogan “Beer for Thought”. Frontaal want to stimulate the drinker and make them wonder about the use of tastes, colours and smells in the beer and what those elements are caused by. In addition to look for the effects of the ingredients, one could also think about which dish the beer pairs well with. Or at what time of day is the best time to drink it.

Brouwerij Frontaal experimenting a lot with new different styles. They like to do collaborations but also want to let the people enjoy their regular fixed range of beers. We hope to take you along with their ideas, and that you can taste them in their beers.
