About Us
The Nepomucen Brewery is a craft brewery founded by two brothers, home brewers, Piotr and Mariusz Musielak, in Szkaradów. The brewery’s origins are a true craft, down to the mallest detail. This is our story.
2014 / Bakery, Piotr and Mariusz, drawing on their previous professional and personal experience, undertook the renovation of a 100-year-old building that previously housed a bakery. They also designed and built the brewhouse, the heart of the brewery. The brewery was founded in 2014…
2015 / First batch …and brewed its first batch on February 13, 2015. Since then, the brewery’s history has been one of constant growth. Through continuous modernization, expanding the number of fermentation tanks, and increasing production, the Nepomucen Brewery has increased its monthly beer production from an initial 8,000 liters to the current nearly 150,000 liters.
2019 / Craft of the Year In 2019, the Nepomucen Brewery won the prestigious KPR KRAFT ROKU award for its PIJŻE beer (out of 615 beers from 119 breweries). Other successes include the Audience Award for Best Beer at the Festibiere Clermont-Ferrand festival and the “Beer of the Festival” award at the Wrocław Good Beer Festival. 2023 / Future The brewery specializes in new-wave IPA beers and a series of light and dark beers infused with spruce and pine needles sourced from the forests of the Barycz Valley. In addition to new-wave beers, the brewery also regularly offers classic styles such as Pilsner, wheat beers, and Baltic porter. This means that, thanks to the wide selection, everyone can truly find something to their liking.
The Nepomucen Brewery is also very active internationally. In recent years, it has brewed cooperative beers with breweries in England, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Italy, France, Bulgaria, Sweden, and Spain, among others.
